RF & Wireless Products New Commercial Latching SPDT, DC-3 GHz, Low PIM Coax Switch Teledyne Coax Switches introduces its new Series CCP-32N Low Passive Intermodulation (Low PIM) Coax Switch. The CCP-32N is a broadband SPDT, electromechanical coaxial switch designed to switch a microwave signal from a common input to either of two outputs. The CCP-32N comes standard with N Type Female Connectors designed to achieve IP3 levels of -148 dBc with two carrier signals at +43 dBm. The CCP-32 Series is ideal for switching High RF Power or High Sensitive Signals. Teledyne‘s Low PIM CCP-32 Series ensure the most linear response with the best galvanically matched contact system in the industry. The CCP-32 Series can handle up to 200 W CW @ 3 GHz and has superior RF performance such as Isolation of 70 dB min @ 3 GHz. Teledyne‘s SPDT design offers the most reliable, and insertion loss repeatable switches. PIM is critical in today‘s market where multiple frequencies are transmitted simultaneously in wireless communications and higher data rates. The CCP- 32N measures 0.90 x 2.75 x 2.33 inches and has a maximum weight of 170.1 g. Teledyne’s New Low PIM product line will feature a wide selection of switches. ■ Teledyne Technologies Inc. sales.europe@teledyne.com www.teledyne-europe.com SMT Directional Coupler Bypasses Microstrip Solutions RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for a 50 W, surface mount, directional coupler serving 14.5 – 19.7 GHz applications. The EMC Technology DN05Z15F provides a 15 dB coupling factor with only 0.5 dB insertion loss in the main band of 15 - 19 GHz. Directivity is a strong, 28 dB min. Maximum VSWR in the DN05Z15F main band is 1.3:1. As a purely passive device, reliability is assured. News The DN05Z15F operating temperature is -55 to +85 °C. EMC passive couplers offer highly repeatable, low loss alternatives to microstrip-on-PCB solutions. SMT devices bypass the challenge of transitioning from coplanar waveguide transmission lines to edge-coupled lines commonly used in high frequency designs. EMC offers a variety of surface mount directional couplers and hybrids for multiple applications including power monitors, signal distribution, antenna feeds and switching networks. ■ RFMW, Ltd. info@rfmw.com www.rfmw.com High Performance VCO Features Excellent Phase Noise and Low Power Consumption Z-Communications, Inc. announces a new RoHS compliant VCO (Voltage Controlled Oscillator) model V590ME09- LF. The device operates over the frequency range of 850 to 1050 MHz within 0.5 to 5.0 V of tuning. This unmatched VCO features a spectrally clean signal of -100 dBc/Hz @ 10 kHz offset while operating off a 5 Vdc supply and drawing only 15 mA of current. The low cost V590ME09-LF is designed to deliver +5.5 dBm of output power into a 50 Ω load and covers the frequency band with an average tuning gain of 63 MHz/V. This low noise VCO operates over the extended commercial temperature range of -20 to 70 ºC and features a typical second harmonic suppression of -13 dBc. The V590ME09-LF comes in Z-Comm‘s standard MINI-14S package measuring 0.5 x 0.5 x 0.22 in. and it is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements making it ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow. The high performance V590ME09-LF is well suited for microwave radio and test equipment applications that require low phase noise performance. ■ Z-Communications, Inc. applications@zcomm.com www.zcomm.com 5 W SPDT Switch Covers 13 - 19 GHz RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for a Kuband SPDT switch capable of handling 5 W RF power.
